Monster

The world built here is great. You want to root for every single character, they’re all so interesting and three dimensional. The scope of the show is impressive too. It juggles so many characters and I don’t feel like any of them lack care. Every single one of them builds up the overarching themes of the story in their own way. Johan is such a good villain too. No matter how much the characters try to explain and understand him you still feel like you have no idea what’s going on in his head. I love how they withhold him for most of the show too. He’s like this demon that only exists in the background pulling the strings and it’s always unpredictable on when he’s gonna show up next. It gives the show a relentlessly menacing tone that I loved.
